Unity Skateboards - Join the Revolution

First off, I have to say what an honor it is to be apart of such a moving time in skateboarding. Not only are the mass-commercialism's dying out, but, the underground is starting to take over. Due to Unity's recent visit to your town, we loved how pretty and nice it was, one of those things most appealing to us was the communities support in skateboarding.

We have come to find out there is a pretty nasty battle going on in Wilmington and Unity wants to dedicate it's full support to the building of a skate park for this community and county. The times are changing, we must face that and change with them. As all great empires have learned, if you do adapt to your surroundings, you will fall.

We have also been witness to police brutality via your local media outlets. We must say it's a shame to a community when a police officer is able to "handle" a kid like a heroin dealer. That is neither lawful or righteous, it is simply an act of personal hate. As we saw the bicycles going by, never bothered...we also wondered the risk factor versus riding a skateboard on the sidewalk versus a bicycle, I suppose that is open to opinion, but who's right is it to tell someone either or?

The fact remains, as a state, city and county, you are all representatives for one another. You must help the youth in ALL areas, just as you would build a football field or baseball field, so should you help skateboarders. It's your duty as civil servants, elected by the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE.

This Nation even issues you yearly funds for parks and recreations. These budgets are available for all public eyes, see your local City Hall for these documents. See for yourself where your money is going, we strongly urge you.

Unity Skateboards is also willing to donate anything we can to help this park get built for the skaters. We have even promised to come back and do a Demo again. As we did like your city a lot! The future is now and we must acknowledge that, for if we do not, we fail in the most important test of all. What did we do to make this world a little better?
